THE STEPS WE TOOK

This autumn Johnnie Walker Black Label, in partnership with Dankie Sounds, continues its Bold Steps initiative, this time focusing on empowering Black women in music. With a commitment to progress, Bold Steps amplifies voices that have historically faced barriers in creative industries. Driven by a desire to address the disparity Black women encounter in the music scene, Dankie Sounds selected three rising stars to receive mentorship and a bursary to invest in their work, giving them the freedom to fulfill their creative vision. The chosen artists will also be given a platform to perform at upcoming Dankie Sounds events, further elevating their careers.
