WALKING PROUDLY WITH THE COMMUNITY IS WHAT PUSHES US FORWARD
When we walk together, we walk further. At Johnnie Walker, we’ve always believed that striving for a better tomorrow should be at heart of everything we do. It’s why we champion progress in all its forms and it’s why this year, once again, we’ll Keep Walking Proudly with the LBGTQIA+ community as a proud partner of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.
This year, Keep Walking Proudly comes to life as an invitation to people attending their first Mardi Gras, to join us in celebration of their true self in fabulous style. With our Mardi Gras Trailblazers we'll be welcoming first time attendees and encouraging everyone to Keep Walking Proudly as we continue to break down barriers together.

Cjay
Between family obligations and working on the frontline during COVID-19, Cjay’s road to their first Mardi Gras has been rockier than most. But for them, it’s all been worth the wait to make their debut with Jordan, the love of their life.
Jordan
Coming out later in life, it wasn’t until Jordan fell in love with fellow debutante, Cjay, that she started to think of Mardi Gras. But with COVID-19 standing in the way of their plans, Jordan has had to wait a little longer to make her Mardi Gras debut.
